What the mural shows

The guitar reflects Tuesday music. The books match the shelves and readers inside. The cup represents the coffee and rare tea served at the counter.

Use it to find the door

Lukaya Cafe is at 592 Upper Wellington Street, just north of Fennell Avenue. The mural is painted on the café wall facing the adjacent Green P lot, so the tree and guitar greet you as you park.

Painted by Erin McFadden

McFadden kept the branches irregular and the roots visible. A guitar leans under the tree while books and a waiting cup sit beside it.
